We headed out on the Polar Express on Saturday with my parents before they headed back to Katy. We had done the train ride with Thomas' mom and dad and we were eager to share the experience with my parents too! We headed out at 6:30 and were back by 8:00. The train took us all the way to the North Pole and we had alot of fun on the ride there and back. We started got to have some yummy hot chocolate and a sugar cookie while listening to the "Hot Chocolate" song from the movie, we listened to the story while one of the helpers carried around the book to share the pictures, the conductor came around and punched the kids special tickets with the first letter of their name, and we did sing alongs, and Addison was able to color on the Polar Express coloring book. Once we got to the North Pole, they were all outside the train dancing and waving to us and they quickly joined us on the train. First, we were able to say hi to the Elf. Avett was excited to show her Santa on his PJ's and Addison told her that she wanted to ask Santa for a Palace Pet. When Santa came, he gave Avett and Addison a beautiful bell, just like the first gift of Christmas in the movie. We absolutely loved it! Addison did great and my sick man had his moments, but overall he had a great time with lots of smiles and dancing, just like his sister.
Much Love,
The Reynolds
