Christmas in Midland

Our last stop for Christmas was in Midland. We had a wonderful time catching up with everyone and having all three babies together. We had Dawn and her family with the new baby, Kinsler, Tosha and family with the new baby Kendrick, and then our family with Avett. Lonetta and family was also there and we went and spent some time with Mammy since she was not feeling well enough to come out to the house. WE got to take some really wonderful photos of everyone together for the first time in quite a while and we had a great sharing our lives that we each have missed out on being apart from one another.

Aeros Hockey

Every year that we go to Houston, we make sure to get in a Hockey game. We have taken Addison for multiple years now and Nana and Poppa have made her a huge fan! She has the jersey, tshirt, Chilly hat, puck, mini helmet, poster,...and praying for no cow bell!! She danced, cheered, gave high fives, and was all around a great fan! This year we brought Avett to his first game. He was very observant at the beginning, but slowly became tired and hungry. I spent some time in the family bathroom feeding him and then came back down to our seats and he was off to sleep after lots of efforts trumped by the loud music and such. He never once cried though and was never fussy. Very proud of him! As usual, it was lots of fun!

Christmas evening

On the evening of Christmas, my brother and his family came over for dinner. We took lots of pictures, enjoyed watching the girls have a BLAST together, and enjoyed a really yummy dinner! It was so nice to see them and we have missed our sweet niece very much! We hope that our next visit with them will not be so far away.

Christmas Morning

Christmas morning, was alot of fun! Of course, we had to enjoy the yummy caramel rolls that are always made by my mom (grandma's yummy recipe). We opened our stockings, and then opened presents. Addison was overly joyful for all of her presents!! She received pretty much everything that she asked for; American Girl Doll, Disney princess watch that is personalized, Hello Kitty Suitcase, slippers, and bathrobe. Of course, she got some great new outfits, but she really could care less about that (I liked that part of the present opening). Avett had a really great 1st Christmas. I was able to put him in the same onesie that Addison wore for her 1st Christmas!! Avett is 4 months in this wearing it and Addison was 7 months. Avett received a monkey suitcase, lots of toys and books, and some great outfits. Together, Santa brought them a super great puppet theater! We saw it at Holiday Happening this year and we were able to get Santa to bring us one! Fun times and great thanks to Santa and our families for all you did for our babies, Thomas, and I!
