Easter

Easter was a great time. It was so cute to see our two cuties dressed in matching colors! I am having fun with this part of having two kids! Can you tell? Avett in his bowtie and Addison in her Chevron dress just made my Easter day, LOL! They were both such happy campers that day. Addison had lots of fun friends to play with (Tosha's friends' kids!) They just ran all around together, ate together, played doctor together, and ran around collecting eggs together...along with smashing the coscarrones(sp?) on each other) There were many many kids big and small that enjoyed our front yard egg hunt. We had lots and lots of eggs! Biggest family egg hunt we have had, and Addison had a blast! The food was yummy, the friends were so fun, and the family time was so worth it!

And I am so proud of my carrot cake!! It was super yummy!!!

Easter Morning

This was Avett's first Easter. Funny enough, Addison spent here first Easter in Midland, as well. The Easter bunny was very good to both kids! They got The Rise of the Guardian, Horton Hears a Who, and Avett got a Baby DVD. Addison received 2 things of candy, Barbie panties, princess bubbles, Dora bandaids, and a giant Barbie Pen. Avett received three Sesame Street foamy books, socks, and a Baby Einstein music player. They had alot of fun digging through their baskets and they were all smiles in the end. Good job, Mr. Easter Bunny!!

Easter Egg Dying

The night before Easter, we all headed over to Tosha and Justin's to dye eggs with our family and Tosha's friends. We had some yummy pizza and then started the festivities. It was such a nice evening that we were able to do it in the backyard. The were able to do six eggs each with dye, stickers, glitter, and crayons. They really had a great time.

Tea for two

They kids have been having lots of fun and having more interactions together. They were having a great time playing tea party. Addison is such a great sister and is so patient with Avett. She was pouring him tea and serving him cake and Avett was just eating it up! What a joy it is to watch the two of them together. I can't wait for more of these opportunities to come our way!
